Model City Polish - Holiday Collection

Today I have two polishes from indie maker, Nina @ Model City Polish.  Nina, was kind enough to send me some polishes from her upcoming Holiday Collection.  When I say upcoming... I mean COMING THIS THURSDAY (Yup, November 22, 2012)!! :) I will link you to her etsy shop at the end of this post...

Lets start with... [With Your Nose So Bright].  This is a clear suspension mixed with black small and large bar glitters as well as brown, red and gold hex glitter in various sizes.
This is 2 coats over LA Colors - Mega Watt
My first instinct was to layer this over a dark color, but then I realized that wouldn't allow you guys to see the true colors in this suspension, instead I layered it over lighter colors.
This is 2 coats over Funky Fingers - Mrs. Mint
Clearly this has the perfect name... What colors do you think of when you hear the word... reindeer?  Brown, red, tan, black...!!  After 2 light coats, I got the glitter evenly spread out on the nail.  Dry time, was fairly quick being that is a glitter top-coat.  Dry time was about 1 minute.  Having so much glitter in the suspension, the end result was a little rough on top, but I quick fixed that with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

Up next we have... [Meet Me Under the Mistletoe].  This is also a clear suspension mixed with small red, white and green hex glitters.
2 coats over American Apparel - Port
I applied 2 thick coats of Meet Me Under the Mistletoe over American Apparel - Port.  I have to say I really enjoyed this particular glitter polish... I like the fact that the glitters are pretty small, compared to the chunky glitter I have been seeing/using lately.  This is polish reminds me of a fresh cut Christmas tree with lights all over it.  Dry time was no different than With Your Nose So Bright, very quick!  The end result was also a little rough, but easy fix with 2 coats of Seche Vite!
2 coats over Essie - Mademoiselle
Love these?  Me too!!  Now here's the details on where you can find them... You can find Model City Polishes... [HERE].  Remember, these won't be released until Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012... so add her to your favorites and check back!
